Edward B. Garza

Edward Borrego Garza, 85, of Elmendorf, Texas, died on January 30, 2011 at his home in San Antonio, Texas. Born on June 23, 1925, he was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Margarita Garza and his children, Ernest T. Garza, Linda Joyce Garza and George B. Garza. He spent many years driving a taxi cab for Yellow Cab and Checker Cab Companies. He traveled the United States as a truck driver before settling to open an auto shop at his home in San Antonio, which he operated until he retired. He is survived by his devoted wife Maria and their son Edward. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Carmen T. Garza and their children Robert Garza, Angie Garcia (Jesus), Eugene Garza, Jo Ann Garza, Edward Garza (Lupita), Roland Garza and Carmen Falcon (Ignacio) along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. At his request a small service was held at MeadowLawn Crematory & American Mortuary in San Antonio, Texas
