But Blessed are those who Trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their Hope and Confidence. (Type set in middle)
Elton James Neal was born on January 18, 1953 to Elton Neal and Dorris Marie Gayle, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Lisa Gayle Neal and Ava June Neal. Elton grew up in San Antonio, Texas, but relocated with his family to Phoenix, Arizona where he continued his education. Elton was employed by various independent trucking delivery service companies. After the passing of his mother and sisters he moved to California to live with his Father (affectionately known as Pops).
When “Pops” was called to Glory, Elton returned to his roots in San Antonio, Texas to be near to his Sister, Sherilyn (EJ affectionately call her Sissy). While in San Antonio, he was introduced to Pastor, Kevin Love and First Lady Jackie Love from Living Faith Community Church (LFCC); Elton was always watered by the word while watching LFCC live streaming services.
Elton’s memory will linger on through his friends and family. Elton leaves behind his sister, Sheryl (Ronald), Donna Lacey, Sister in Love (Maryland), Best Friends: Joe and Ronnell, from Phoenix, AZ and Los Angeles, CA. Cousins:
Lela Bonds (Charles), Nancy Willridge, Jerrald Hosey (Deborah), and Quinlan Adams, (all located in Seguin, TX and surrounding areas); and a host of Nieces and Nephews from the state of Maryland, whom He enjoyed when they visited San Antonio on Holidays.
Though Elton’s time with us was not as long as we would have hoped, we have some good memories etched in our minds and on our hearts. May we all carry forward the cherished moments we spent with EJ and hold them in our thoughts. Rest in Paradise, Elton. Truly you are missed, but your spirit we will always hold near and dear.
Let us run with endurance the race set before us, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our FAITH. (Type set)
