November 17, 1954 ~ April 28, 2021
Galatia Bethsheba Taylor peacefully journeyed to her eternal home with her Heavenly Father on April 28, 2021. She was born on November 17, 1954 to Marcelle G. Dupree and James Galloway in High Point, NC. As a devoted military wife and mother, Galatia was a rock for her family and together with her husband and best friend of 45 years, William Taylor, they raised their three sons Endris, Marcelle, and Darian, with love and encouragement. She always had a kind and uplifting word ready for anyone she spoke to and was a devout church member. She opened her home and extended her care to children in the military community with her in-home daycare. She lovingly instilled her teachings, life lessons, and whimsical sayings not only to her own children but to those in her care. She had a giving and helpful spirit and touched the lives of many. She was preceded in death by her mother Marcelle G. Dupree; father James Galloway; and brother Woodruff Galloway. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her husband William; children Endris Taylor and wife Michelle, Marcelle Taylor and wife Ashley, Darian Taylor and wife Heather; grandchildren Emilia, D’Mariyon, Judah, Marcelle Jr., Elijah, and Selah Taylor; brother Endris Galloway and wife Trina; nieces Treylese Stover and husband Marshall, Aisha Galloway, and other extended family and friends.

Gigi, going to miss you girl. My heart is heavy. Rest in heaven sister. I love you.
You were a friend and a sister when I needed one. My husband and I are so grateful to have had you in our life. You shared your children with us and your husband. I admired your walk with the Lord. You never complained and you always had a encouraging word to speak. I am happy and blessed to know that I will see you again one day. And that I find comfort. Taylor family be encouraged we love you and our prayers are with you. The Wilson family
Beautiful service. The message was exactly how Mrs. G would want it to be. Honoring God and giving others an opportunity to accept Him. She inspired me and her spirit will keep impact for many generations to come. Our condolences to the family. We love you guys and we are here for you. Praying for God’s strong arms to wrap around you all and comfort you during this time. Mrs. G, you will be missed by so many~Till we meet again!- Pete and Tina Lytch
I will truly miss my dear Sista/Friend. Service for her was just the way she would have envisioned it to be. She was a special friend to so many. A friend that stuck closer than a brother. G wouldn’t want anyone to go with seeing her again, that’s why she told and showed by example the goodness of the Lord while here on earth. You will be missed G, but your gentle but strong words will not be forgotten by all that knew you. May God continue to wrap His loving arms around the Taylor family during this difficult time. See you again Sis! Steve and Robin Wilder
