George Roy Williams Sr. Born April 8, 1935 in Hunlock, Pennsylvania entered into rest on April 8, 2013 at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marlis Elisabeth Williams, sons George Roy Williams Jr. (Maria Rosaria), Ricky Dean Williams Sr. (Callie), and Michael Kevin Williams (Karen), Fourteen Grandchildren, and Eight Great-Grandchildren, Sisters, Shirley Heiser, Linda Keist, Sister In Law, Janice Williams, and Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Scott Dale Williams, brother Tom Williams, and parents Paul and Jeanette Williams. George served in the US Army where he retired after 20 years of service. He met his beautiful wife Marlis when he was stationed in Germany. He loved his family dearly and he left behind a beautiful legacy. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Funeral Service and Visitation will be held Friday April 12th at 3:00pm at Meadowlawn Memorial Tribute Center 5415 E. Houston, San Antonio Tx 78220. Graveside Services will be held Friday April 19th, 2013 at 2:30pm Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. To George! Altough most of the tme there were so many miles between us, they never bothered our hearts, because we were and still are SO close to you! We love you dearly and were always touched by your kindness, loving caring and generosity. You and aunt Marlis always took such a big place in ozr lifes, that we still can`t imagine you’re gone. But you are not really, because you will always keep this place in our hearts and we promise to care of the love of your life as good as we can!We will always be there for her and always remember you with the warmest thoughts and feelings!
