Gilbert Rivas Guerrero (Gibby) age 52 was called home to be with his Lord on February 24, 2016 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on June 21, 1963 to Antonio and Esperanza Guerrero. After he attended East Central High School, he worked in construction and loved working with heavy equipment. He was a huge Green Bay Packers fan because of Brett Favre. He also enjoyed watching METV which included old shows such as Happy Days, Andy Griffith, and MASH. His true love was always his family. He loved being a Dad, a grandfather, and a husband. He was a loving, sweet, handsome man who touched so many lives. He was preceded in death by his father Antonio, and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife Linda, his five children, Anthony, Stephanie, Bryan, Jeremy and Joshua, his grandson Jason, his mother Esperanza, his brothers Antonio Jr., Eliseo (Maide) Guerrero, his sisters Lupe Moreno, Joann Gamez, Diana Rios, Sandra Rodriguez and Angelita (Andy) Campos and several nieces and nephews. 2. In these sad and troublesome times it is reassuring to remember Jesus’ promise that one day soon…”all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28,29). God promises that at that time “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” (Revelation 21:4). My condolences go out to your family and friends….Mrs. Aguirre
