Gina Craig-Byrd passed away on July 7, 2025. Gina was born to parents Gloria Craig and Walter Stanford on October 23, 1962.
Gina preceded in death by her husband Robert Byrd, is survived by her mother Gloria Craig, her children Pre’Shonda Birrou, Incicia Birrou, Tencice Birrou, she went to cherish her son Gerald “De Shawn” Craig. grandchildren Aubrey Gordon, Levi Edwards. Siblings Janice Riley, Russell Craig.
Ronald Craig, Debra Sam, Jerald Craig, Melinda Craig and a host of family and friends.
Gina graduated from Fox Toch High School in 1981, she received her associate degree in Business from St. Phillip’s College. She took pride in her businesses Christian Hope Personal Care Home, Neighborhuod Notary and Route 87
Liquors. She was also apart of The San Antonio Observer for over 20 years.
Gina was a compassionate and loving soul, always bringing warmth and kindness to those around her. She had a heart. full of generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand and share a smile with everyone she met.
Her presence was a source of comfort and joy, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of her family and friends. She lived with grace, embracing each moment with love and gratitude.
She joyfully accepted Christ as Savior and affirmed her faith through baptism under Pastor Garner’s leadership.
Her memory will forever be cherished, a beautiful reminder of the love she gave so selflessly. She will always be remembered and deeply missed.
