Gloria J. Hardwick

Gloria Jean Hardwick was born July 14th 1943 in Kenedy Texas to Lennie Houston and Helen Adkins. She graduated from Carver High School in Ballinger Texas at the early age of 16. Gloria accepted Christ at an early age at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Ballinger, Texas. Gloria had a passion for dance and music and was very artistic. She was a woman ahead of her time. She was very adventurous in that she accepted people from all different backgrounds. Gloria loved her family. She united in marriage with Bob Hardwick in 1973 and to that marriage was born one daughter, Kaneka. Preceding her in death: father Lennie Houston, mother Helen Adkins, daughter Kaneka Hardwick, brother Stan Field, grand-mother Jennie, 2 step dads, 2 aunts and 4 uncles that all loved her dearly. Gloria leaves to cherish her memory: 2 brothers, Clyde Houston (Mildred), Frank Field Jr. both of San Antonio, Texas. Three Sisters: Ann Snell of San Antonio Tex., Ella Bandy of San Angelo, Texas, June Trueblood (Kenneth) Dallas Texas. A host of nephews, nieces, first and second cousins and friends.
