Jacquelyne Marie Gay-Rips was born June 9, 1932 in Toronto, Ontario to loving parents Ernest Leonard Leigh and Madeleine Maas. She passed away the afternoon of August 4, 2024 at the age of Ninety-two.
Jacquelyne was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Her creative mind often led her to creating beautiful works of art, in the form of quilts and paintings. Jacquelyne also had a caring heart, which led to her career as a nurse.
Jacquelyne is preceded in death by both parents, as well as her husband Edwin Frey Rips Jr. Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons Earnest Gay (Diane), Joseph Gay Jr. (Ella), grandchildren Earnest Jr, Kevin (Marisa), as well as great-grandchildren Katelyn and Felicity.
Jacquelyne leaves behind a life and legacy that will not soon be forgotten. She will be missed dearly by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
