Janice E. Renner

Janice Elaine Renner, age 76, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

Janice was born on July 11, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Frances and Frank Foerster. Affectionately known to family and friends as “Jan,” she was a deeply loving and caring person who had an endless amount of love to share with everyone she met.

Jan retired from Walmart after 25 years of dedicated service, a testament to her strong work ethic and commitment. She met the love of her life, Mark, while out dancing, and together they enjoyed many wonderful years of life, love, and memories.

A talented and passionate cook, Jan was especially known for her delicious pot roast, a family favorite that brought everyone happily to the table. Becoming a grandmother was one of the greatest joys of her life. She lovingly helped raise her grandson, Evan, who was truly the apple of her eye.

Family time was precious to Jan, and she cherished yearly trips to the beach in Port Aransas and Galveston, creating memories that will be treasured forever. At home, she found happiness tending to her plants and caring for her beloved cats, both of which brought her great comfort and joy.

Janice Elaine Renner will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, devotion to her family, and the love she so freely gave. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her
