Janie Caunder

Janie Caunder 8/17/28-9/28/15 Janie went to be with the Lord on 9/28/15 after a long battle with cancer. Janie is preceded in death by her parents Refugio Caunder and Regina Mainez, her son Juan Arturo Munoz Sr. and her brothers & sister. She is the last of the original Caunder "gang". Janie is survived by her son Larry Munoz & his wife, Robin Munoz; her grandchildren Isaac Munoz & family Laura Munoz, Kyle McClelland & family- Madeline Munoz, Joshua Munoz, Hunter Munoz, Juan Munoz Jr., Jennifer Munoz, Felipe Munoz & 14 great grandchildren. Janie retired from Riatta Cadalac and helped raised her grandchildren. She enjoyed the outdoors, plants and frog and flamingo collections for the yard. Her son and grandchildren will always remember the smells of tortillas, bacon and beans in the morning and come running downstairs especially if there was orange papas. Janie passed peacefully with her son, daughter in law and 3 grandchildren by her side after her battle with cancer. So her is our proposal for her celebration, we break the tradition of black at the funeral home (Janie did not like black). Bright colors, happy colors for this is not goodbye, but merely I'll see you later. Come celebrate her life with us.
