Jeremy M. Garton passed away on December 27, 2010 in San Antonio. He was born March 2, 1946, in Sells, Arizona. Jerry was an accomplished tennis player with a zest for life. He joined the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam era and served as an Air Policeman in various embassies around the world. After completing a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Houston, he worked for several oil companies throughout the world, from Dubia to Indochina. Jerry is survived by daughters, Sandy and April Garton; brother, Michael and wife, Sheryl, of Boerne, and a sister, Dr. Susan Garton of San Antonio. A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. See you, brother! "Saddle me a good horse on the other side!"
