Jerry Lopez, Sr.

Jerry Lopez, Sr., was born on September 20, 1966 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Jose Lopez and Maria Lopez. He attended the local public schools and including Sam Houston High School. Jerry came to know the Lord at St. Benedict Catholic Church.
Jerry met the love of his life over thirty five years ago at Sam Houston High School. They were high school sweethearts and have been inseparable ever since. They were married November 7, 1987. Jerry was larger than life, but was actually a gentle giant. He loved interacting with his family and kept them laughing.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jose Lopez and brother, Michael Lopez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria; his children, Candi (Booker), Jerry, Jr. (Jannesy), Laura (Ernest), Eric and Stephanie; his grandchildren, Damian, Alyssa, Ernest and Booker V; his mother, Maria; siblings, Rita (Edward), Joe Roy, Ruben (Janie), Larry (Christine) along with a host of relatives and friends.
