Jesus Martinez Gaona

jesus gaona
Jesus "Jesse" Gaona, 49, went to be with our Lord on January 19th, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Sauceda Gaona. He is survived by his son Jacob Alexander Gaona, his mother Bonnie Gonzales, sisters; Laura Gaona Leija and Elizabeth Gaona Yell and husband Russell, special friend Mica Olivas Mora, stepdaughters; Miranda and Megan Mascola, niece Vanessa Benavides and husband Zech, nephews; John Michael Leija, Roman, Evan, and Presley Yell, and great nephew Jaxon Zechariah Benavides. Jesse was a 1984 graduate of East Central High School. He was a free spirit with a huge sense of humor. You never walked away from Jesse without sharing a laugh. He was a hard worker who always found the time to help anyone in need. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved his Dallas Cowboys. His proudest moment in life was when he became a father. Not only did he gain a son, he found a best friend. From that day on, he lived everyday for his son. Jesse will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed.

  1. The world has lost one of God’s greatest creations, my brother Chuy. I am grateful for the 49 years that we had you but if I could have one wish it would be for at least 49 more. I will miss you forever!

  2. Jesse was my bff a true friend who was always there for me. The most caring and generous person i have ever known. A special place in heaven was made just for Jes for he was a special person. Jesse was never selfish he had a heart of gold. No matter what was happening in my life he always made me smile and feel good inside. Jesse enjoyed life and when you were around him you were in a happy place. I was blessed to have such a wonderful friend his friendship made a positive impact in my life. I love you Jes! Thank you for being you. You will never be forgotten.

  3. Our deepest condolences to all of the family, especially Bonnie, Liz, Laura & Jacob. Rico and I have great memories with Jess from back in the day, shooting darts hanging out on weekends and of course Rico working with him daily at Gunn. Never a dull moment with Jess around, could always make us laugh. He had the biggest kindest heart ever, always enjoying life. Hadn’t seen him in years, but once we reconnected on fb it was as though we never loss contact, his messages or comments were always so sweet & always followed by a funny comment to make us laugh. We will cherish our memories of Jess always…R.I.P. Our friend, you will be greatly missed.
