Jesus Ventura, Jr, 68, of San Antonio, died May 29, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to the late Jesus A. Ventura and Asencion Miramontez in East Chicago, Indiana. Jesus graduated from Rio Linda High School, in Rio Linda, California, while playing Varsity baseball, Basketball, football and track. Jesus played minor league baseball while attending college before joining the United States Air Force as a Para Jumper. Jesus retired from the Air Force as a Sergeant, then went on to pursue two careers as a Master Mechanic and a Sheriff's Deputy for the El Paso Sheriff's Department. Throughout his lifetime, Jesus was immersed in the world of Martial Arts teaching hundreds of students the art of Shinjimasu. Grand Master Jesus obtained his Doctorate from the Shinjimasu College of Martial Arts where his teachings became the foundation for the start of many Martial Arts schools throughout the United States. Jesus is proceeded in death by his Father, Mother, and sister, Amalia. He is survived by his three children, Li-An Ventura, Jesus Ventura, and Jo-An Barboza, as well as 13 grandchildren, and many more assorted family and friends. His life with us leaves a lasting legacy and he will be dearly missed.
