Jimmie L. Johnson

Jimmie Lee Evans Johnson was born on April 10, 1933, the third child born to Jim Evans and Frankie Lee Nation Hughes. She was a loving and devoted mother of four; Billy E. Wilson, Deborah A. Jackson, Kenneth L. Wilson and Monica L. MacMurray. She was born in Brenham, Texas and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She gave her life to Christ at a very early age and was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in San Antonio. She worked for the San Antonio Health Department for 28 years before retiring. Both of her parents and her stepfather, Joe Hughes, two sisters; Margaret A. Post, Ethel Mae Taylor, a brother; A.J. Williams, two daughters; Deborah Ann Wilson Jackson, Monica Lynn MacMurray and one grandchild Eric D. MacMurry all proceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons; Billy Earl Wilson, Sr. and Kenneth Lee Wilson, her brother; Louis Woods Evans, five grandchildren; Angela Jackson, Susie "Tootie" Wilson, Billy E. Wilson, Jr., Kenneth Tucker and Terrance Scott, great granchildren; Auntrinique M. Yates, Daesha L. Smith, Ziann F. Smith and Evan B. Wilson along with many neices, nephews, cousins and friends. We will miss her greatly.
