Joseph W. Rose

Joseph Wayne Rose, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010 in San Antonio at the age of 73. Mr. Rose was born on October 16, 1936 in Houston to Clarence H. Rose and Otis O. Herring Rose. Joseph served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. During his professional career, Joseph was in charge of the training department for the IRS. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Hibbs Rose; sons, Joseph Wayne Rose and Jeffrey Allen Rose and by six grandchildren. A memorial graveside service is scheduled for 10:45 am on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to: Texas Lions Camp, P.O. We love Joe like a brother and will miss him. All the best to the family and all our love to Barbara.

Our neighborhood in New Braunfels will miss Joe tremendously. His parting from this earth on Thursday was too sudden for us to grasp, but we know he is in a better place looking down on all who loved him especially his beloved wife Barbara.
I am so sorry for your loss, Barbara. Joe always had a warm smile and a greeting each time I passed his office on my way up to the “sweatshop”. You and your family are in my prayers.
