Juan R. Rodriguez went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the age of 83 years. He was born in Villa de Ramos, Mexico on May 16, 1938 to the late Urbana Rosas Becerra and Juan Rodriguez Garcia. Juan was a hardworking man who always supported his family. What always brought a smile to his face was spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed making campfires, watching western movies and having a cold beer. He finally retired after years of working in truck driving and construction. Juan was a handyman who always made time to help others. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 46 years, Maria Guadalupe A. Rodriguez; son, Juvenal A. Rodriguez and his wife, Gina; daughter, Monica R. Guillermo; grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremy, Joshua, Lilliana and Cristian; sister, Hortencia Rodriguez. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 5:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30pm at Meadowlawn Funeral Chapel 5611 E. Houston St. 78220. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church 125 W. Whittier St. 78210 Interment to follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Park.
