Julio Cesar Esparza
December 8, 1945 ~ November 21, 2018
Julio Cesar Esparza passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 21st at the age of 72. Cesar was an educator for 40 plus years and touched many lives along the way. It was not unusual for him to be recognized by ex-students whether at the mall or even while getting a bone marrow biopsy. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dolores; two sons: Ariel Esparza and Carlos Roel Esparza; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Elise Esparza; sister, Ileana Esparza; brother, Marco Antonio Esparza; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr.Manuel Santiago and all the staff on the 8th floor at Methodist Hospital for the compassionate care they gave Cesar.

to the family of mr. julio esparza… I only met Julio in march of this year, and I may (very possibly) bear the distinct honor of being the last person to be trained by Mr Julio in his drivers education career. in any case, it was an absolute pleasure to get to know him. even after my training was complete, we would occasionally get together at las palapas on Tezel to chit chat and have a cup of coffee. Julio even met me at the little league field once to get some paperwork together for my license, where he decided to stay and watch my 7 year old granddaughter play softball! and that’s what showed me how genuine, caring and personable mr julio was. I will certainly miss being able to draw from his decades of instructor driving experience and knowledge AND I will certainly miss hearing the plights of ‘EDDIE’, his foreverly favorite (fictitious) drivers ed student. But after all is said and done, I will miss Mr Julio, the man, the most…… my condolences to the family and May God Bless Julio

I grew up in Eagle Pass as did Cesar. We played ball together as well as attended high school. Cesar was a good guy and enjoyed his company. My deepest condolence to the family
