Kenneth R. Rust

Kenneth R. Rust, age 77, went to be with our Lord on May 14, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born January 9, 1938 in Waring, Tx. Kenneth honorably served his country in the United States Navy He then began his long successful career in aircraft. He worked many years at the San Antonio International Airport. His hobbies and projects consisted of designing and building many types of model airplanes out of wood and also fixing old radios which he enjoyed. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Rust; sister, Sylvia Vogt; daughters, Rita Rust Tyner, Suzanne Soetching and husband Bobby, Joann McGeever and husband Don; son, Tim Rust and wife Kathy. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 28 great grand-children. Visitation will be held from 12 - 2 pm, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at MeadowLawn Funeral Home, 5611 E. Houston St., San Antonio, Texas 78220, with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations are appreciated.
