L.B. Johnson was a wonderful kind person. He was a loyal Member of the Board and contributor of the Peacock Military Academy Alumni Association. He will be dearly missed. Arthur Wolf ’73 CEO PMA Alumni Association.
I met LB at Peacock Military Academy in San Antonio from 1954 / 1955. LB placed a value on unconditional friendship and we renewed our friendship after he returned from Holland circa 1911. He will be missed by his many friends located throughout the globe. He was a great character and was able to agree to disagree, and probably the main reason why he had so many friends. He had qualities of leadership and was a good athlete and participated in several sports. He was always fair in dealing with people, and treated people like he would like to be treated. He was always mature for his age and always conducted himself like a gentleman. Wish I could have met his pet Ocelot when he was in Venezuela. Yep, he was even friends with an Ocelot and he showed me the pictures to prove it. LB was one of a kind.
