Lary N. Eddy

Lary Neil Eddy, 50, passed away on November 11, 2010 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in 1960 at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station. Lary worked at Frost in San Antonio and was an avid golfer. He is preceded in death by his father, Byron B. Eddy. He is survived by his mother, Joy R. Eddy of Corpus Christi; brothers, Carl Eddy of The Colony, TX and Gary (Nathalie) Eddy of Round Rock, TX and his niece and nephew, Meredith and Mason Eddy of Round Rock, TX. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, November 24 2010 at the Meadowlawn Tribute Center, 5415 E. Houston St., San Antonio, TX 78220.

True friends are hard to come by, and Lary was one in a million. He had a great heart, and a kind and gentle soul. He loved to laugh, and always kept the mood light with his quick wit. He was the kind of person that would always remember your birthday and make a point to keep in touch. Ill never forget our days working together at the bank, playing city league softball, or catching our favorite bands in concert. He was a great man and I will truly miss him. We want to offer our deepest sympathy to all family members. Our prayers are with you all in this trying time. I am going to miss Lary as a good friend of 25 years and fun co-worker and golf mate.
I am deeply saddened at hearing of the loss of Lary. Lary and I worked together at Frost Bank many years ago in Corpus Christi and I had the honor of having Lary serve as a groomsman in my wedding. I have nothing but the fondest memories of our friendship and remember the laughter and fun that we had. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. May God bless and comfort you at this time of loss.

Lary was my supervisor in Item Processing for over a year. He made work more enjoyable at the DFW TPC in Irving. Great personality. I will miss him, but will always remember him as a great human being! I pray for comfort for all that knew him. Amen

As several people have mentioned, he had a good sense of humor and a quick wit. His love of golf was well known, and he was always willing to help anyone who had a need with their game. Most of all, he was a kind and caring person to all that he knew. We will all miss Lary.
Lary was my Boss at First State Bank of Texas. I will never forget his kindness nor his since of humor. He will be missed.
