Lee Roy Pettit

Lee Roy Pettit was born October 20, 1935 in Hallettsville, Texas to St. John and Nellie Pettit. Lee Roy graduated from High School in 1955 from Hallettsville, Texas. He attended Prairie View A & M University. On November 17, 1964, he united in Marriage to Mozell Nealy. To this union they were blessed with two daughters: Lisa and Michelle He started his career in Tailoring and later was employed by Classified Parking System Inc. for numerous years. He also worked as a Supervisor for Creasy Catering. He was a dedicated employee. He accepted Christ at an early age and later united with New Light Baptist Church, He was a faithful member until his Health failed. Lee Roy was proceeded in death by his loving Wife Mozell Pettit & his parents St. John & Nellie Pettit and one brother Everage Taylor. He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters: Lisa Miller (David), Michelle Wright and April Winn. three sisters; Vetta Hicks (Jeremiah), Jo Nell Foley (Elroy)and Gerlene Hardaway (Willie); two brothers; William Pettit (Virginia), Charles Pettit (Gerthie). one aunt; Gladys Pettit. three granddaughters; Destiny Monroe, Kieare' Wright and Sharri Jones. five grandsons; Brian Miller, Brandon Miller, Bradley Miller, Ugi Winn and Darren Nelson Jr; and a host of Nieces, Nephews , Relatives and friends.
