Lewis John Holston, age 76, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025. Born on September 9, 1948, in Griffin, Georgia, Lewis lived a life defined by service, strength, and deep devotion to his family.
Lewis proudly served in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1988 with the rank of Master Sergeant (MSGT). His military career reflected his unwavering sense of duty, leadership, and commitment to those around him.
Following his retirement, Lewis embraced the joys of civilian life. He found peace and fulfillment in the great outdoors—fishing was one of his greatest passions, along with hunting and gardening. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family.
Lewis is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Holston; their three children, six grandchildren; extended family and three great-granddaughters. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loyal friend whose warmth and wisdom left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
His legacy of love, quiet strength, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those
who were fortunate to know him.
