I’m sending my sincere condolences to the Henry family and friends. This is one of life’s greatest challenges that we have to face. Jesus said, did, and promised something that gives us comfort and hope. In the Bible at John 11:11-14, Jesus likened death to sleep. This comfort us in two ways: 1) we are assured by those words that our loved ones are not suffering or in pain. 2) If a person is just sleeping, he will wake up! Notice what Jesus does next at John 11:43-44, this is amazing! If you would like to know more details about this, please download a free copy of the brochure Good News from God @ Jw.org and read lesson 6 along with the Bible.
To the Family, so sorry for your loss. Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Lula Mae has the prospect of being resurrected, healthy (in the flesh), to Paradise Earth just as Jehovah God has promised. In fact , the vast majority will enjoy everlasting life right here on earth as God had intended from the beginning. God’s Kingdom will do this under the rule of Jesus Christ. To the family I would like to express my sincere condolences. The Bible reports many instances of humans young, old, male, and female who was brought back to life on earth. God hates death he views it as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) He has a yearning to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of a resurrection. He longs to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live forever here on earth in the abundance of peace. (Psalms 37:11) To learn more visit jw.org
My fun memories of Aunt Lulamae were all the weekends that I stayed over. She would faithfully get up early in the morning and make us breakfast of a very, very large pot of creamed rice. Nobody could fix it like her. That rice would warm you up inside and keep you full for at least 5hrs. I loved it! I still make it until this day. Sometimes for breakfast but I love it as part of my dinner meal, only when I fry, fried chicken. It’s sooooooo good. My mom, Goldie called her Maidie, but my mom gave everyone a nickname. She loved her sisterlaw and her children. She will be missed by all that knew her or worked with her at Robert B. Greens Hospital from where she retired from. She was a very smart and a hardworker , and loved her children. May she now RIP. Luv u Aunt Lulamae, your neice Mary Grant
