Margaret Ann Jensen, age 70, left this life to be reunited with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ September 11, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born August 20, 1954 at Langley Air Force Base (AFB) in Hampton, Virginia to Darrell E. Jensen and Lorraine Kearney Jensen who preceded her in death. Margaret is survived by her son Christopher Riojas and his wife Adria; granddaughters, Savannah Riojas and Cristianna Riojas; and brothers, Carl and wife Carol Jensen and David and wife Karen Jensen.
Margaret spent her early years in Hampton before moving with her family to Wethersfield Royal Air Force Base, England. Upon leaving England, her father was assigned to Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas where she would make her life-long home. She is a 1972 graduate of John Jay High School. She also attended San Antonio Junior College.
She spent the majority of her working life in the food service industry at Lackland AFB, managing dining facilities that served the men and women recruits of the United States Air Force. Under her unswerving leadership, her facilities were the recipient of several prestigious Command and Air Force level awards for food service excellence. She retired as an Assistant Program Manager in 2017.
Margaret was a God-loving woman. She loved attending church, traveling, going to the beach, going to Doll Shows and spending time with her son and grandchildren at every opportunity.

Growing up in Westwood Terrace, I remember Margaret was a very sweet and caring person. After high school we lost touch as life took us on different paths. Our thoughts and prayers are with family.
