Maria Celia Schnaufer of San Antonio, passed away peacefully in her home on August 28, 2015 at 2:04 a.m. surrounded by her loving daughters. Maria Schnaufer was born to Antonio and Josefina Herrera on July 20, 1947. She is survived by her four daughters Jennifer Trejo (Luis), Michelle Cieslewski (Nick), Christine Schnaufer and Melissa Schnaufer. She also is survived by her two grandchildren Aiden Palomo and Kylie Cieslewski. Maria devoted her life to her family and raising her children. She was of Christian faith. Maria was an avid gardener who always enjoyed being outdoors and looking after her beautiful garden. She was an outstanding cook and strived to be better in every meal she made. Her children always came first and she would do anything for them. Later on in life she was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren. She loved nothing more that to spend time with them in any way up until the end of her life. Maria is preceded in death by her Mother and Father as well as three brothers and one sister.
