I was saddened to hear about my cousin Yolanda’s, death. I have very few memories of Yolanda, when I went to La Mesa, Tx with my dad Uvaldo Sr. I was 11 yrs old and when I went over with my brother Uvaldo Jr. I was about 14. I remember her as being a very happy and beautiful person. It is a shame that we lived in the same city and close by and never got to visit each other. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to the family and May God bless and comfort you at this time of grief. Again My Deepest Sympathy, Lydia Isabel Cavazos Smith, Known as (Chevela Cavazos.)
Your wit and kindness will be missed. I have many great memories of you that will remain in my heart forever. We love you and take comfort in knowing that we will see you again!!!
Yolanda, I am glad that I got to visit with you in your house last summer along with Melissa and her kids Lilly and Carson. You were very welcoming even as I had not been in touch for too long a time. I will always remember that day in your house and all of us in the backyard and me and the kids in the pool! Thank you for your laughter and your smile. Ya nos veremos algun dia…descansa ahora en los brazos del Senor. Walt
