Marion R. Schilling

Marion Ruth Schilling, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. She was born on September 21, 1927 in Fort Riley, Kansas to Andrew J. and Julia V. Gorman. Marion was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt who loved visiting with family and friends. After raising her two daughters, Marion and her husband ran a landscape business for many years before retiring in 1999. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Julia Gorman; husband, Daniel Schilling; brother, Andrew Gorman, Jr. and her sister Theresa Powell. Marion is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law; Patty and Rick Eason of Georgetown, Texas; Kitty and Mark Knox of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren; Brooke Rollins and her husband Adam of Dallas, Texas; Rick Knox and wife Jennifer and great-grand daughter Caroline of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Eleanor Utz of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Charles and his wife Freda Gorman of Placerville, California; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to everyone who ministered and cared for Marion over the past two and a half months, during her battle with lung cancer. Marion will be greatly missed by her family and friends who take comfort in knowing she is at eternal peace with her Lord.
