Martha Dora Cervantes was born August 6, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to loving parents Rogelio R. Elizondo and Teresa Guerrero. She passed away the evening of June 27, 2023 at the age of sixty-five after a long battle with illness.
Martha was considered the backbone to the family. She was nothing short of an extraordinary Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Martha often enjoyed fishing with her husband Daniel, as well as swimming, camping, and listening to Tejano music. Martha will always be remembered for her kind spirit and generosity, with not only her family, but anyone that needed her help.
Martha is preceded in death by both parents, as well as her son Raymond Ontiveros. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of over twenty years Daniel Cervantes, Brothers Steven and Rogelio Elizondo, as well as her granddaughter Katalina Ontiveros, whom she raised like a daughter and affectionately called “Kitty”, as well as her wife Amanda Mendoza.
Martha leaves behind a life and legacy that will not soon be forgotten. She will be missed dearly by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
