Martha Eunice Gensink

Martha (Marah) E. Gensink , age 79, went to be with her Lord Jesus on June 5, 2014. She was born on September 9, 1934 in Alamosa, CO to Englebert and Martha Gesink. She was a loving mother to four sons, Robert, Berend, Karl, and Willis, who are forever thankful to God for her inspiring love and devotion. Marah was married in 1952 to E. Gail Koops of Denver, CO, raised her sons, earned her GED, Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Elementary Education, teaching over 20 years Maryland Public Schools. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Geraline, Betty, and Joan. She is survived by her sons, her sisters Nelvina and Lois, her brothers Gary, Bert, John, and Bill, nine grandchildren, and one great grandson. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Crown of Life Lutheran Church, San Antonio, TX.
