Martha Irene Ortiz

Our beloved Martha Irene Ortiz, born April 4, 1944, was called upon by our Lord on October 4, 2015. She was an employee of the Army Air Force Exchange Services from November 1984 to April 2007. She returned back to work in August 2008 and retired February 2009. Throughout her years of employment she touched the many lives of co-workers who admired her smile, happy-spirit, and willingness to help others. She is survived by the love of her life, Daniel Ortiz, who shared 45 years of a beautiful marriage with her. She is also survived by her children: Robert Hernandez Jr, Joe Albert Hernandez, Alyssa Garcia, and Ulises Ortiz. Grandchildren: Christine Garza, Ernest Davila Jr, David Almendarez Jr, Joseph Almendarez, Tabitha Hernandez, Jacqueline Mendez, Pricilla Mendez, Analysa Gonzales, Ulises Cristobal Ortiz, eight great-grandchildren, nine sisters and two brothers. She is proceeded in death by her father, Felipe Medellin, mother, San Juana Flores , brother Roy Felipe Medellin, and daughter Elvira H. Moreno. Martha will always be remembered for her big heart and the love she had for her husband and family. She will be missed dearly.
