Martin Martinez Sr.

Martin Martinez Sr. was born October 8, 1949 in Kennedy, Texas to Locario Rangel Martinez and Luisa M. Alcala. Martin was called into Heaven by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ October 12, 2021 at the age of 72. His body will be laid to rest beside his mother in Karnes City Cemetery. Martin is known as a sweet, kind-hearted man who enjoyed a good laugh. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all that had the opportunity of knowing him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Locario and Luisa, and siblings Severo Alcala and Simona Arredondo. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of fifty years Alicia Martinez, children Laura Hero (Pedro), Martin Martinez Jr. (Brenda), Patricia Wright, and Theresa Junco (Miguel). Martin also leaves behind siblings Santiago Alcala Martinez, Juanita Serna, and Benita Nuñez, as well as grandchildren Gabriela Hero, Isabella Hero, Martin Martinez III, Alicia Martinez, Alfred Rivas, Juliana Rivas, Ryan Martinez, Rylie Martinez, Todd Stewart, Brandon Wright, Alexandra Wright, Sabrina Apolinar, Sofia Junco, and Maria Junco.
