Mary C. Haynes was born in Kerrville, Texas at Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 19, 1955 at 12:49 A.M. to Charles and Elsie K. Haynes. Mary was a graduate of Fannin Elementary School, Louis W. Fox Technical High School and San Antonio College, where she received an associate of applied science in advertising art. Mary was raised in San Antonio, Texas and was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. She was employed at Naugles Restaurant as a food service worker for several years until the restaurant moved out of the area. She then was employed at Best Products for thirteen years where she was highly regarded as a hard working employee. After the closing of that company she sought employment at AutoZone where she worked over sixteen years until her death. Mary was loved by her co-workers and customers alike. She was dependable, hardworking, personable, honest and very professional. She was generous, outgoing, beautiful both inside and out and was loved and respected by all who knew her. Mary was kind to everyone. She was a talented artist, cook, animal lover and loved working with electronic gadgets. She was incredibly talented when it came to handy work around the house, she could easily install a shower head or bathroom faucets. Mary was a very unassuming woman, not at all vain. She was a strong woman, who went out of her way not to upset anybody, but would not let anyone push her around. A bright shining star that was what she was to her brother. She taught him so much, self-control, love for others, to respect others and how to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. A bright shining star to her brother who is a star that is now shining even brighter in heaven. She is survived by: her brother, Carl E. Haynes and cousins, Anna P. Miner and Sherry Carr.
