Michael Anthony Bell

Mr. Michael Anthony Bell, a lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 63. He was born on October 30, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Horace L. Stigger; his uncles, Larry, Sonny, and Leonard; his aunt, Vicky; his cousin, Lisa and his maternal grandparents.

Michael will be remembered for his warm spirit, playful humor, and the joy he brought to those around him. Known as a true jokester, he loved making people laugh and never missed a chance to brighten someone’s day. He enjoyed fishing, spending time near the water, and sharing good meals—especially his favorite from Church’s Chicken. Above all, Michael had a caring and giving heart. He loved his family deeply and was always ready to help anyone in need.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Ruth E. Stigger; his sister, Monique Allen; his son, Michael Anthony Bell Jr.; along with uncles and aunts Dewitt Bell (Jocelyn), Harold Bell (Christine), Francis Bell (Keltinia), Orlando McCollum Jr, Kevin McCollum (LaNita), Leon McCollum, LaVeta Winn (OB), Carla Ardoin (Patrick) and Karen Gibson; nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will continue to hold him close in their hearts.

Michael’s presence, laughter, and kindness will be dearly missed, but his memory will live on through all who loved him.
