Michael Dean Boyd

Michael D. Boyd of San Antonio, Texas passed away January 21, 2022.  Michael was born November 10, 1955 to Dr. and Mrs. Dan Boyd in Galveston, Texas.

The Boyd family settled in San Antonio in 1958 where Michael grew up and graduated from Robert E. Lee High school. He went on to graduate with a degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.  He worked for Luby’s restaurant in San Antonio and Houston, and later going to work for Valero services until his retirement.   Michael loved to travel and would often pick up and venture to a new destination on a whim.

Michael’s memory will be cherished by his dear friends as well as his brothers, Daniel and Bill Boyd along with his nephew, James Boyd.   The family would like to give a special thanks to Robert and Lupe Ortega for the special care given to Michael in his last months.
