Michael Zane Fay passed away on Friday, August 22, 2008 in San Antonio at the age of 93. He was born on March 27, 1915 in Ardmore, OK and lived in Smithport, PA before moving to San Antonio in 1970. He worked in the automobile industry in the Detroit area for many years until he retired at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife, Hiroko Fay; step-daughter, Ione Slotnick and children Cherissa and husband Eric Bond and children Nikolas and Dylan, Crystal Slotnick and Alex Slotnick; step-daughter, Mari and husband Bill Alexander and children Sarah and Emily; Mike's children, Judi Triplett, Michael Z. Fay, Jr. and wife Pat, and children, Bruce, Kelley, Shannon, Kristi, Ryan and Michael-Joseph, Rowena Fay, Roberta Schrubb and daughter, Kimberly, Nancy and husband, Stanton Higley and children Brenda, Chuck Jr., Cassie, Angela, Timothy, Margaret and husband, Ken Johnson and children, Andrea, Susan, Aubrey, Heather, Wendy, Ken Jr. and Lisa. In addition, Mike's brothers, Dick and John Fay and sister, Anna Marie Transki also survive him. A memorial mass will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at St. Marks Catholic Church, 1602 Thousand Oaks Dr., San Antonio, TX 78232.
