Mike Robles went on to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. Mike courageously fought for many years while residing in San Antonio, Texas with grace and dignity.

Mike Robles was born on February 11, 1958, to Agustina Robles and the late Carlos Manuel Robles in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. He grew up and was educated in New York City. He worked for many years within the airline industry and soon after began his career in comedy.

Mike was a huge advocate for the Latino comedic community. One of his most memorable quotes in support of his fellow Latino comedian comrades said, “Some advice I can give to Latino comics and content producers is for you to not only create but to own your content.” He created the hit shows, “Comedy Rhumba, Què Locos,” and “Loco Comedy Jam.” He won an Emmy Award in 2001 for his show “Video Mix.”

Mike loved Salsa music and he also enjoyed listening to 80’s music. Mike was a good dancer and his favorite television shows were Judge Judy and New York Undercover.

He was a loving husband, great father, and wonderful friend. Mike enjoyed life, and he loved to make people laugh and smile.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Brenda Flores Robles; children, Trinity Robles, and Dylan Robles; mother, Agustina Robles; siblings Madeline Ortiz, Carlos Manuel Robles Jr., Jose Alberto Robles, Luis Enrique Robles, and Daisy Emilia Robles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will truly be missed!
