  1. Montoya was more then a friend to me she was my sister. We became woman together. She watched my kids grow and my marriage flourish and although at times we didn’t always have time to get together I knew she was always a call away. She was beautiful inside and out and always knew how to make me laugh. She loved my kids and husband the way she loved me. She always accepted people for who they were and wanted people to love who they were. I loved her. I’m going to miss all the laughs we shared, celebrating our life accomplishment , the shit we talked. You will always have a special place in my heart that cannot be replaced. There are very few special people in the world we come across who love us for who we truly are. You will always be that person to me. Rest in peace baby girl.

  2. She sounded like a lovely, strong, and educated woman. The kind of people that you want to know, love, and have in your life. A humane woman that should stay on this earth and live a full life to her elderly years. I too went to Taft H.S. however I never had the pleasure of knowing this beautiful spirit. I pray for her family and friends to find comfort in our savior and that he blesses them with peace and strength today and always! May she rest in paradise where each and everyone of you will meet again. So for now she will fly and dance with the angels. May God grant our sister Toya with Eternal peace and love. Amen! My condolences to everyone who knew and loved her and to her very special friend Danielle 💝
