Natividad C. Garza

Natividad "Nettie" C. Garza, 87 years old, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2010. She was born September 6, 1923 in Taylor, Texas to Blas and Antonia Contreras. She was preceded in death by her husband Preciliano Garza, her parents and three brothers, Jerry, Frank and Luis Contreras. Nettie is survived by her son, Ricardo C. Garza and his wife Elida, her daughter, Gloria G. Elkins; grandchildren, Ricardo, Jr., Marissa M. and Richard V. Garza; sisters, Felicita S. Garza and Lazara Cadena. Nettie was a member of Jehovah's Witness since 1974. She believed in God's Kingdom through His son, Christ Jesus, as being the only hope for all of mankind's problems. She had a firm hope of the resurrection as stated in the bible in John 5:28-29 and the promise of living on this earth forever under Christ's messianic rule. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 915 W. Mistletoe, San Antonio, Texas. A private burial will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
