July 31, 1941 ~ October 20, 2015
Oliver Wayne Freasier was called home by our heavenly Father on Friday, October 2, 2015 at the age of 74. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, B. and Maude Freasier, his brother Rick, sister-in-law Terrie and niece Leslie.
Wayne is survived by his sisters, Bobbie (Kenneth) Hosier and Sharon (Jim) Brodt; brother Gary Freasier; sister-in-law Barbara Freasier; nieces, Kim (George) Stuart, Mary (Manny) Velasquez, Erin (Eric) Ply, Lauren and Megan Freasier and Ashley (Joey) Lovell; nephews, Richard Freasier, Michael (Trish) Freasier and Drew (Brandy) Brodt. He is lovingly remembered by his great nieces Olivia, Sophia, Lyla, Anna, Rebecca, Audry, Cassidy, Rikilynn and Reagan; his great nephews Colby, Matthew, Lincoln, Lance, Zachary, Chase, Tyler and Riley and numerous other relatives and friends.
Wayne was born on Juy 31, 1941 in Taft, Texas. As a young man Wayne had a passion for riding horses and became a jockey riding in the Texas County Fair Circuit. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed throughout the United States. After the Army, Wayne became an electrician. He worked for numerous companies alongside his family members. Wayne finished his electical career with Ronnie Gerth.
The a family would like to extend their thanks to all family and friends who came to share memories with Wayne during his final days. Wayne will forever be in our hearts.
