Patricia Ann Butler, 69, of San Antonio, Texas transitioned to Heaven to be with the Lord on November 29, 2018. She was born in Luling, Texas on January 27, 1949, the daughter of Millie Mae Broadnax and Floyd James Forcey. Mother attended TriMinistry Worship and she loved her church. She enjoyed Bible study and learning about the Lord. She was a ray of sunshine wherever she went and was known for her unshakable faith. Patricia graduated from Luling High School and also attended St. Philips and St. Marys Colleges in San Antonio majoring in Computer Science. Patricia worked for over 23 years in business administrative functions related to customer service including working in the Tax Office for the Bexar County Courthouse for 16 years. Patricia served on the CentroMed Board of Directors for 13 years and also served as a member of the Personnel Committee. She was a Board Member Patient Representative of CentroMeds Noemi Galvan Eling Clinic. She was a great advocate for patients and had friends throughout the company. She leaves her only son Patrick, grandchildren, Ryan and Noah; and Michael who was like a son to her. She is also survived by her sisters, Robbie Jo Robinson (Manuel), Jewel Howard and Angeland Hill as well as several nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her parents and brothers Sonny, Clifford and Freddie. She loved her home and the family she found in her neighbors and friends including Karlynn Walters, Irma Reed, Mattie Spann and Ray Walker among others. Patricia had a huge heart and loved so many. Those reading this most know it.

Ms. Butler was a devoted member of our Board of Directors, having served over 13 years. She served faithfully; devoting a considerable amount of her time attending meetings and special events. She was very effective in voicing our patients’ perspective and, in the process, earned the respect and friendship of many. We all grew very fond of Ms. Butler. She was a part of our family.   5. Thank you, Patrick, for coming into our lives and bringing your mother with you. Her love of life, family and friends was always evident. She always made me feel special, as if we shared a secret we could smile about. The Christmas joy she brought to Buffalo was contagious and watching her play in the snow with her Granchildren…well, that was fun because she really didn’t like being cold. I will always be grateful for the times we spent together. May all your memories be sweet and blessed. I am sending many prayers for your family especially you, Michael, Noah and Ryan.
