Raquel Contreras was called home by our Lord on May 15, 2015 at the age of 58. She is survived by her children, Hector Javier Rendon, George Rendon, Norma Lizet Alvarez, Cristal Diana Rendon, Clara Raquel Contreras, Jennifer Lee Contreras, other family members, Esperanza Estrada, Angelica Estrada, Liliana Mandujano, Karina Cervantes, Joseph Mendoza, Cristobal Eric Gil, Antonio Joel Gil, Jacob Suerte Cedillo, Martha Lizet Barrozo, Victor Santana Alvarez and other numerous relatives and friends.

To Raquel’s children. Please accept my condolences. May the loving memories of your mom bring you comfort During this difficult time. May you find comfort in one another and in Gods promises. John 5:28,29 promises a resurrection of our loved ones that sleep in death. This promise helps us cope With the temporary absecence of our loved ones. Jehovah God will give you the strength to endure this pain.( Psalms 46:1)

Mah: It’s been a lil over two years since your passing and not a day goes by that you don’t cross my mind, especially on a day like today (our birthday). I terribly wish I could be with you and celebrate together or at least pick up the phone and call you. I talk to you everyday like usual only today it stings a lil more. Know that you raised strong children who in turn raise their own the same. Know that as adults we now realize how much you faced doing it alone, being brave and loving us as much as you could and the only way you knew how. Know that we were never ashamed and loved you every minute, even though sometimes we didn’t see eye to eye. Your memory remains alive in all of us and we hope to make you proud. You are very much missed Ama.
