Rebecca Ann Lopez, affectionately known as “Annie,” entered into eternal rest on May 16, 2021. She was born on January 2, 1976 in Dallas Texas to Alfonso Sanchez and Donna Lopez.
Annie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She was known for always accepting people for who they were and finding the “good” in anyone she encountered. Her love and big heart for her family is indescribable, an she will forever be cherished in our hearts.
Annie is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth “Kenny” A. Brooks, her mother, Donna Mendoza and step-father, Chris Mendoza, her father, Alfonso Sanchez, and step-mother, Berta Sanchez; her children: Jerry Sanchez, Tommy Sanchez, Miranda Sanchez, Ty Jordan, Laylah Jordan, Arianna Jordan, and Isabella Brooks; grandchildren: Emme Marie Sanchez, Tommy Romero Sanchez, sisters: Heather, Michelle, Yvonne, Cris, Pearl, Ashley, and Andrea; brothers: Sunny and Alfonso Jr., and numerous other close relatives and friends.
It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our Annie. She will be dearly missed.

I remember being introduced to Annie 14/15 years ago (wow! Didn’t seem that long ago)… I remember the 4 of us went out bar hopping fir my birthday, she and I tore up those dance floors! Then kept our fools from brawling downtown, lol! She kept it 100 and I knew I could be around a female like her. Just sad to know that so many years passed without a word. 😔 RIP Annie ♥️

I have so many memories that I don’t even know where to begin, funniest, loving, crying moments, serious moments, and all the talks you’ll have with all your children about everything that goes on in this scary world. I’m so happy God picked you to be my mother because despite everything you truly have a heart of gold, you’re the most angelic and beautiful flower of an amazing woman, my mother!🌺
