My thoughts and prayers are for the family of Rene. I know Rene from work. He was a very nice guy and I’m sorry for your lost.
I’m saddened by the loss of Rene. I remember us playing as kids. You will be missed but not forgotten. May your family find comfort and peace in that you are no longer suffering.

I first met Rene when I joined civil service. He acted as a mentor and was a man I greatly respected and also shared much laughter with. When I left DC and changed agencies, we fell out of touch. I am just learning of Rene’s passing and am remembering a wonderful man and colleague. To his family, I am so sorry for your loss and hope your memories of him give you comfort and peace.
