Rene Flores Martinez was born June 17, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas to loving parents John Q. and Noel Flores Martinez. He passed away to be with the Lord the morning of November 27, 2024 at the age of sixty.
Rene was an extraordinary and loving Father, Brother, and friend. He was known for his huge heart and selflessness. Rene was a graduate of Harlandale High School and accepted Christ at an early age. Rene was very involved in charity work, every year volunteering to be Santa for Autistic and Disabled Children. Rene was also a handyman and could often times fix anything. He also often enjoyed spending time with family, barbecuing, as well as watching tv and listening to classic music, such as Frank Sinatra and Big Band.
Rene is preceded in death by his loving wife Veronica Cedillo Martinez, as well as both parents, and dear friend Steven Tyler. Left behind to cherish his memory are his children Rene, Anthony, Daisy, Emilio, John, and Gabriella, as well as siblings Juan, Luis, Martha, Angel, Ralph, and Gustavo.
Rene leaves behind a life and legacy that will not soon be forgotten. He will be missed dearly by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.
