Robert Wallace, born February 18, 1940, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024. Robert, a man of great character and loved by many, leaves behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by his family and close friends.

Robert was born to the late Mason Wallace and Addie Mae Bowman-Wallace in Good Pine, Louisiana on February 18, 1940. He grew up in Good Pine and graduated from Good Pine High School. Robert accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at a young age and was baptized at L & A Baptist Church. At the age of 19, he moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he met the love of his life, Gloria Lewis. They shared a beautiful union of 57 years, raising their two children together.

Robert worked various jobs throughout his life. He last held a position at Turbine Support Company as an aircraft mechanic, retiring after 23 years of service. He was man of many talents, that had an unbeatable passion for sports, especially for his favorite team, the Las Angeles Lakers. Robert was also an ardent viewer of ESPN Sports Center and found peace and satisfaction in working in the yard during his leisure hours, a hobby that kept him physically fit and mentally relaxed.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, Mason Wallace and Addie Mae Bowman Wallace and his beloved siblings: Jimmy Wallace, Henry Wallace, Jerry Wallace, and Eva B. Lacy.

His memories with them were cherished and he often fondly recalled the happy times they shared together.

Robert leaves to cherish in his memory, his beloved wife, Gloria F. Wallace his son: Patrick Wallace (Rechelle), his daughter: Patricia Wallace, two grandchildren: Kaishae Monae Houston, and Elaine Nicole Kelly; his sister: Mary Louise Humphrey of Long Beach, California, and a host of nieces, nephews, many other close relatives and friends.
