Robert R. Herrera Sr.

Robert R. Herrera was born September 26, 1965 to loving parents Guadalupe F. Herrera and Maria R. Herrera. Born and raised in San Antonio, TX,  Robert was a proud graduate of Sidney Lanier High School class of 1984. He passed away to be with the Lord October 22, 2024 at the age of fifty-nine.

Robert was an extraordinary and loving Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend. He was known as a man that spoke his mind and would tell it like it is. He was very outgoing and social, he easily made friends everywhere he went, and always had something funny to say. He loved spending time with his friends and family, if any one needed help, he was always the first one to offer. Robert also often enjoyed Watching the Spurs and Cowboys play, win or lose, he was a die hard fan. If you didn’t catch him at his favorite restaurant then he was out shopping for a new addition to his coin or knife collection.

Robert is preceded in death by both parents and his aunt Rosalinda Herrera. Left behind to cherish his memory is his daughter Michelle Herrera (son-in-law Thomas Adam Mendez), sons Robert Herrera Jr.(daughter-in-law Vanessa Herrera), Gabriel Herrera(daughter-in-law Ajane Powell), as well as his sister Elizabeth Herrera, grandchildren Robert Thomas Ryno Mendez, Anastacia Herrera, Christopher Jimenez, Iliana Buendia, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends.

Robert leaves behind a life and legacy that will not soon be forgotten. He will be missed dearly by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.
