It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Roberto Galan, who left this world peacefully on July 1, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 62.
Roberto was born on October 10, 1962, in Dimmitt, Texas, and throughout his life, he was a man known for his warmth, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family. He was a passionate drummer, finding joy and rhythm in every beat, and spent countless hours tending his beloved garden, especially his vibrant collection of flowers and plants that brought color and life to his home.
He had a gift for bringing people together with his easy charm and warm spirit. He enjoyed fishing; while enjoying quiet afternoons by the water. He loved being outdoors, especially when it gardening and planting, casting a line or just soaking in the fresh air. He also had a passion for music festivals and never missed a chance to hit the dance floor, moving with joy and making everyone smile. But more than anything, Roberto found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He shared a beautiful life with Noemi, the love of his life, and his six children, who were his pride and joy.
Roberto will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and the way he made every gathering feel like home. His legacy lives on in the music he played, the flowers he grew, and the love he gave so freely.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Andres and Trinidad Galan, as well as his siblings: Paula Galan, Gloria Silva, and Joe Galan.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Noemi, his cherished children, Paula Sanchez (Evan), Kristina Salazar (Henry), Estela Galan, Robert Galan (Jade), Adriana Miranda (Mark), and Juan Miranda. He is also cherished and remembered by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each a living legacy of his love and strength.

A celebration of Roberto’s life will be held in San Antonio. The family asks that flowers/plants be sent to the funeral home or in lieu of those, that you plant something in his memory—just as he did so often, with care, beauty, and love.
