Roberto retired from the Air Force with 20 years of dedicated service and during his service career he visited Japan and was stationed in Anchorage, Alaska for 5 years and had experienced The Great Alaska Earthquake of 9.2 magnitudes on March 27, 1964, on a Good Friday.
He worked as a dentist assistant in the service, after the service, he did plumbing, carpentry and sheet metal work before finally retiring. After retirement he entertained himself by getting his lotto tickets, pick 3 and scratch off game. He enjoyed sports and played numbers for football and basketball games and he was lucky most of the time. He also loved the casinos and would go any chance he could get. With the energy he had he enjoyed helping Raymond and Carol set up at the events they had booked and later assisted managing Laguna Del Ray Pool where family would get together.
Roberto enjoyed the outdoors, bowling, billiards, playing cards, and action movies and his favorite TV series was Charmed. Robert loved dancing and he was a VERY animated dancer. He was a real meat and potatoes guy. But most of all Robert loved and prayed for his family every night.
For all those who knew Roberto, he never held anything back and was always straight forward and at the same time very enjoyable to be around. We will miss his outspoken personality and charisma. Most of all he believed in God, and he left us peacefully with his family surrounding him. It was a fight he couldnt win, but he fought it with extreme courage. Forever in our hearts and till we meet again. We love you! Our joy will be memories of him forever in our hearts. Peace Be With You All...
