Some of God's best creations are uncomplicated and that's what Sam embodied. He was a man that tried to find solutions, rather than search for problems. He loved to laugh and share his thoughts and opinions. He also loved to work with his hands. There wasn't much he couldn't fix, or at least try to. He never laughed at the expense of others, but rather with others. He was a pure soul which is lost in today's world. His greatest attribute was his attitude. He was always positive, and when he would say your name, he would do it with emphasis, like he was happy to see you.
He always asked how people were doing, even if he hadn't seen them in a while. He was also always quick to help however he could, especially if it was mechanical. His love was cars, and he took care of them as such. Cars were a passion to him, one could even say it was a part of who he was. Sam thought of his life as an adventure and that's a gift we would all be so lucky to have for ourselves, but we had something just as good, we had him; a man who always treated people right and with respect, a man with a good heart and smile, a man who took pride in his work and what he had. So here's to a man that we all loved, and a light in our lives that will always shine. Here's to a man that had kindness and compassion for not only people, but animals. This isn't goodbye forever, just goodbye for now.
